Patrice Ellen (Champagne) Fitzgibbons, 65, left this world suddenly but peacefully in her Pawtucket home Wednesday Morning July 13th. She is survived by her handsome sons John & Joseph Fitzgibbons, her unparalleled daughter-in-law Loren, perpetually impressive granddaughter Clementine, and not leastly her beloved pooch Blue. She was a guiding light as godmother to Jaime Stephens and Melissa Wilkinson. She was a loving sister to Dennis, Loreen (RIP), Michael, Jo-Ann, and Dawn. She was a devoted daughter to the late Oscar and Laurel (Lemay) Champagne. She was wife to Robert Fitzgibbons for 33 years up until his passing in 2014. A lifelong Rhode Island resident, Patrice held many occupations but was most known for being a hairdresser for over 30 years shaping heads and hearts across the greater Providence area and working with the students of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Academy in Central Falls in various capacities. She so loved her friends and family, as well as literature, laughing, Motown music, and the look of a Rhode Island State Trooper in some freshly shined high boots. A passionate friend and fearsome foe, she will be missed by all who were lucky enough to encounter her during her short time on this planet.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday July 30th, from 1pm-3pm at Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln RI. In lieu of flowers, send donations to RI SPCA (www.rispca.com).
